Hello Content Moderators,

This is a mass-mail to all TwistyPuzzles.com content moderators, so please don’t take it personally if this doesn’t apply to you.

Wayne has just accepted the role of the lead Museum Moderator, and I have no reason to doubt he will dramatically uplift that area in short order. Adding that event to this brand new year makes this a great time to get on top of content moderation in other areas of TwistyPuzzles.com, which, I’m sure we can all agree, hasn’t gone quite as planned this past year!

Please let me know if you are sufficiently dedicated to retaining your position as a content moderator at TwistyPuzzles.com, what you can do better, and what I can do to support you in doing better. We all intend to do our best for the site, and we all have higher priorities. So let’s be realistic. If it seems like the responsibility of contributing to the site has been hanging over your head and dampening your fun on the site, it’s time to give yourself a break and let it go for now.

Please e-mail me an accounting of where you’ve been and where you are now with respect to content moderation on the site. Around mid-January I’ll be removing the content moderator status of those who are not responding to the opportunity (with my deepest appreciation for your good intentions) in order to clear the way for those who may be ready to take on the responsibility.
