Here is my new variation on the X-block. I extended the skewb both ways this time to yield a true X-shape. Enjoy!

amazing. never seen anything like it. you could most likely sell that for over 100 dollars if i could sell my 2x2x1 for 50. but still incredible mod.

I was thinking about something like that recently, except it was a block not an x shape. Still nice job!.

Thanks for the comments. I don't remember exactly how long it took, but id estimate only about 4 hours + stickering, seeing as i used molds which made it a lot quicker. I should hopefully have a video up sometime soon.

I WANT ONE!!!! lol...you really should consider making a production run of these....I bet they'd be as big a hit as the octahedron's are!

Scott made custom molded mechanisms. He would have to probably have to get a bunch of skewb cores.

Then again he could try molding two identical pieces and put them together to make a make shift core.

Either way, that would be a lot of effort and stress on his part.
