I'll just go ahead and tell about some of my futur puzzle ideas.

1. Tilt Cube (3x3x3, 6 colors)
wind mill/fisher principle are applied to each dimension (3 jobs, doing it from scratch)
only, the angle of the cuts is only 10 degree angle, whole cube stays in dimensions
result: all cubies stay recognizable but in odd dimensions, or
the center of the cube have been 'Tilted'

2. Barrel 'O Fish (3x3x3, 5 colors)
a fisher cube turned into a cylinder shape (edge is now top face)
reult: Cylinder with an X in the middle

3. Arrow Cube 2.0 (keychain 3x3x3, colorless)
same principle as my first mod (extending 3 ajacent faces, truncate other three) but using a keychain cube, extend to regular 3x3x3 size.
result: an Arrow Cube with alot more effect of the visual look, wich is the main point of the cube (not difficulty)

I didnt say it was gonna be easy. I gotto practice on some easier mods first tho

A Fisher's Cube in 3 directions sounds like Greenhill's Cube. Of course, you're talking about different angles. I once tried to build a 3x3x3 mod that was slightly tilted in all three directions. I wanted all the pieces to end up differently, so you'd get some some of Golden Cube. I got this far, and then gave up.



And how would a 3x3x3 mod look like that is tilted 45 degrees in two directions?

I just spent the last hour making it in Inventor (I prefer Autocad), and I got this.

I sketched up several 3x3x3 mods a couple of months ago while exploring the symmetry of the puzzle in various shapes (cubes, cylinders, prisms), and found a few very interesting mods that have never been made.



The first is an edge centered cylinder. Very interesting, I like the x on the curved side.



The second is a cube that has been turned 45 degrees on 2 axes. I called this one F-squared because it has been "Fisherized" twice. It looks very similar to Greenhill's Cube, but is distinctly different.
