I love it and it looks awesome!!! Did you happen to use a rubik's UFO for this? If not what did you use.

Those are square-1 corners. Greenhill made this but its 3 layerd instead of 2 layered. http://twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/puzzle.cgi?pid=775

I like it! so did you use a UFO mech? very nice looking love the clear plastic alot. get some stickers on that bad boy.

Well made Lee!!  I built a 3x3x3 Star prism too, not too difficult, what about the building of 2 layer star prism? What did you used as a core?...

I would like as well to know which is the core of this beautiful 2-layer star prism
I remember that last month on ebay was sold a similar one, and it was made with a Rubik-UFO core. Guess here it's the same, but a confirmation would be appreciated

the two layer star is my first diy , so it have some problem
the core is the core of the sq-1 , I cut it
we will not find where is the center of the star sometime

I looks like it works exactly the same as a UFO

Ah I see, it's not perfectly a 2-layer, i.e. there's a large defect with it.
This problem I can't think of a way to fix on a Sq-1... maybe that's why we don't see any true 2-layer Sq-1s.
