how can I make this puzzle

Here is a sketch of how I BELIEVE that the extentions are done.

Keep in mind that it is a very crude sketch, and the angles of the lines are probably not the ones that are used "in real"...

Here is how i figure out what the internal skewb looks like, and this works in almost any skewb mod. Find the "X" (in this case it happens to be on the center of each side) on the mod, and hold up a regular skewb to it so that the edge (where the "X" is on the skewb) matches the "X" on the mod. That always helps me picture skewb mods. Although this doesn't work on all of them, Golden Cube for example.

Look at it this way. The 4 coloured pieces are centers and the 3 coloured pieces are the corners. Then imagine the internal mech of it.
