I am not sure if this the correct place in the forums for this puzzle, as it is not "new" but this is the first time it has been presented here. The puzzle was invented by Rick Eason and was an exchange gift at IPP24 (Tokyo, 2004).
Myopic Doves consists of eight cubes, each of which has two blind dovetails, one pin and one tail (an inny and an outy).

The aim is to slide the pieces together to make a 2x2x2 cube:

This version of the puzzle was designed in SketchUp, printed by Shapeways in WSF and dyed using various Rit dyes (I mixed some colours because I only had six different colours). It has an edge length of 54mm and weighs 26g.
