At first I wanted to give the answer of my two preceeding fellow members but I am afraid that is to simple.

Chris Lohe showed me a puzzles made out of 3 pucks with very smooth turnings. Hendrik sold me the pucks and I made the extension.

The result is a very very stable and good turning cube puzzle. The small metal ball inside is very helpfull the place the pieces in their correct positions for turning. The name is given by the 3 pucks.

A waste of pucks! I'd love to get my hands on one of those blue ones.

Great puzzle. If you have trouble with it catching you can round off the sharp Puck edges.

Yes, Tony is right. This was indeed the experience with the 3-layer pucks in the beginning.

Very much original puzzle material for this item, but of course the pucks are easy to model in 3D..
Again a puzzle on the borderline between the puck family and the Square-N. Very nice!

How exactly do you know where the 'functional' slice is, when turning the puzzle? Maybe I'm missing something really simple but I can't find it.

The "functional slice" will normaly not change his position. You can manage it by turning the outer slice with the pressure of your fingers. You can also fix it with the other hand, which hold the non turning slice.
