Nice. I was just thinking while looking at this - it should be very easy to make a great treasure chest version of the TwistBall, which opens only when solved, by removing sections of the tongue/groove around one of the circular sections. Kind of like this: Attachment:

Yes, you're right. If you wanted to make more of a solving challenge to open, you could cut sections along the tennis ball-like "equator".

But if that's not difficult enough for you: 1. Add internal gears/bandaging 2. Tie your hands behind your back 3. While you're on a tight rope 4. And I'm throwing stones at you Now try solving it!
