Huh if they're willing to bring out a puzzle like this then I think Eric Vergo's Rhomdo or Unbandaged Rhomdo would be a great choice.

FINALLY.
Looking at these puzzles, the original Crazy Comet seems to be a prime candidate for mass-production.

I'm really hoping for a standard Crazy Comet too! I hope that they can get permission from Oskar to do that.

It is nice to see the MF8+Dayan Crazy Comet based on a truncated octahedron. It looks like the asymmetric centres would cause various blocking. Can the centres be switched around? Do these puzzles jumble? Have you seen an Eitan's Star somewhere around?

Let's just hope there's no "hidden internal puzzle" this time! Put there "deliberately" but without informing us of it!

Can the centres be switched around? Do these puzzles jumble? Have you seen an Eitan's Star somewhere around? Yeah it looks like they would jumble. The three rhombus faces look like they meet each other the same way they would on a rhombic dodecahedron. They'd jumble at the same angle as a Helicopter cube: ? acos(1/3) * (180/Pi) % = 70.528779365509308630754000660037564036 The other faces probably also interact in various jumbling ways. Based on my experience with Eric's Unbandaged Rhomdo, I'd say the Crazy Comet series is going to be pretty darn hard.

Don't all Bermuda series puzzles jumble so far?

I find it amazing that the same set of pieces fits both on a classic dodecahedral "megaminx" core and on a rhombic dodecahedral "helicopter" core. From what I understand, only Bermuda Minx will be marketed for the time being. I wonder whether the rhombic dodecahedral version was serendipitous discovery after Bermuda Minx was produced, or whether it was designed that way on purpose. In both cases, I am amazed that one puzzle geometry can be fudged into another one like this. Well done Dayan! Depending on the definition of jumbling and stored cuts, I am not sure whether Bermuda Minx (or the original Bermuda Cubes) jumble. The rhombic dodecahedral version definitely jumbles. Oskar

Here's a picture showing some unbandaging on a bermuda cube (URU'R')*2, I'm pretty sure that it jumbles. Assuming on an unbandaged bermuda cube all faces can always turn in 45 degree increments. Attachment:

Feel free to ignore the cut on the orange piece, it shouldn't be there.
