Hi!

Binocular Skewb is a result of shaping a Master Pyraminx into a cube. The cuts have to be curvy to reveal the middle edges of the Master Pyraminx (they get hidden on the cube if planar cuts are used). Because the first cubic Pyraminx was Tony Fisher's Cubominx, at first I wanted to name it Master Cubominx, but later I though that with its curvy cuts it's closer to Eitan's Eye Skewb. His puzzle has an eye on each face, mine has two - hence the name.

What a beauty. You really are the master of the tetrahedral puzzles. This is taking the Offset Skewb to another level!

How big is the puzzle? Standard 57 or 60mm?

Amazing puzzle. Is there a reason the stickers on the smaller corners are as small as they are?

It's the way the cuts are made? Look how the puzzle turn wile the "skewb" turn. If the stickers would cover more space, while turning the puzzle the sticker would be taken over, and probably "destroyed" over time

... It's jsut that I was not 100% of myself, and my english is a little bit limited.

Very nice puzzle! I have often thought to myself: hmmm how would a Master Pyraminx look in a cubic shape.

How about dodecahedral? icosahedral? rhomb? maybe I am a fanatic, but I would love to see the other platonics made!

The edge length is 50mm.

Yes, and the reason is very small angle between the face of the cube and the cutting surface. Rounding (filet) of the sharp edge of the central face element reveals this big area on the corner.

This is an interesting question, I'll think about this. Shape modding of NxNxN cubes has gone far, but there's not so many modding examples of tetrahedral (as well as other Platonic) shapes.
