That is so awesome I can barely contain my excitement! I actually enjoy the mix of different piece shapes and sizes. Now... when can I buy one?

Rylox prism? Easy/boring way out IMHO. Is there any reason why we can't have some Olzing? Just to mix things up a little bit...(that's not to say I won't get one in my next crate, but I would like *some* kind of Olz'd puzzle...)

Yeah I think that's true for all of the non-proportional cuboids, even ones like the C4U 3x3x5. Personally I'm always happy when a new puzzle comes out and I prefer good turning to other attributes like proportionality.

-Doug Olz still is the only one who mastered that. As close as possible at least.

):I got so excited until I saw it wasn't proportional. Oh well, I suppose I'll wait or fork over the money for the Shapeways 4x4x2.

If it works well, I'm totaly ok with that ! Even tough witeden cuboids are not proportional, they still work extremely well, .

A genuine proportional one is not possible. It has to be fudged or pillowed, Olzed etc. It could definately be closer to proportional. However I am pretty sure the mechanism will be their mini 4x4 mechanism (just extensions)

When was I supposed to be told about this thing Even though it might just be a 3x3x2 cut in half two times I still think as the maker of the original I should have ben contacted or notified about it. But as allways, China is China and there's not a damn thing you can do about it...

I meant that I was the designer if the correctly propotional 4x4x2. On the other hand I don't see him mentioned anywere either. Well then I guess you shouldn't really have expected to be contacted about this puzzle then. olz wrote: On the other hand I don't see him mentioned anywere either. I agree, it would be nice to see some acknowledgement of the original designer, however a whole series of bandaged cubes were released recently with no mention of the original designers and they were not considered KO so I'm not sure if this one would be any different as it is "just" a bandaged 4x4.

Based on the dimensions I'd say it's an extended mini 4x4. Probably won't buy it. It looks a bit boring and Witeden stickers are not that great.
