Can someone please post the bandaging pattern? I would like to make one out of a spare 2x2 that I have by glueing edges to centers and such.

The bandaging pattern can be easily seen in the top post of this topic. It's not that simple though. A real cube usually has tiny gaps between edges, centers and corners, especially when you look at it from inside of the puzzle. So if you simply glue the required parts you'll get a cube that does not work well, and is difficult to turn. It took me a while to work out a proper procedure. BTW, I don't know which 2x2x2 you want to use, but usually a 2x2x2 does not have a 3x3x3 core. It has a special core with a bandaged corner part. So you'll have to make your own core spider.

I had made several Nightmare cubes once I developed a proper process. If you're interested, I can sell you one.

You could make this with 2 vcube 2's, as they have a full spider
