Great puzzle. Sell this idea to MB as a give away with all their cars (I'm sure that they could afford the expense). Maybe one way to improve it would be to raise up the centre circles somehow so that it is easier to move them?

This reminds me of the sorts of puzzles you run into in adventure games. For example the "gate room" in Riven.
