Hi Everyone,

I am introducing my latest puzzle, the Jumble Trap. Jumble Trap is a face-turning tetragonal trapezohedron. It has eight axes of rotation, one at the center of each face. Every move is jumbling, and the puzzle can become quite scrambled, both with the shape and the colors. I developed the geometry for Jumble Trap while I was working through the concepts discussed in this thread. In addition, a beautiful pillowed version of this same geometry was recently introduced by cubedude76 in this thread.

Very nice design i particularly like the colour scheme you chose! How is it to solve have you tried or is it a mod of a common puzzle that i cant spot?

It's a mod of a crazy jumbling trap ! Well done David, as always, awesome. Pipped at the post, but it's obvious it has been in the works for a long time.

What is the puzzle's size and weight?

The short edges are 1.429 inches, and the long edges are 2.439 inches. It is 4.5 inches from polar vertex to polar vertex. Apologies, but I don't have a scale with which I can accurately weigh my puzzles. They are hollow Shapeways parts, so suffice to say they are fairly light.
Thank you for the nice feedback! It is not a mod of any other puzzle, and has a unique mechanism (although probably very similar to that used by cubedude76 ). I have not gone through a full solve yet, but from what I've seen so far, it will be a very tricky puzzle.
