I had a spare Skewb Ultimate, so I decided to make this; an Icosidodecahedron, originally made by Tony Fisher.VIDEO

It was really fun to build and allowed me to develop a good technique for accurately truncating pieces. I cut the stickers by hand from sheets of vinyl; all of the colours are unique and I used White for the truncated areas

Looking back though, I probably would have used thinner plastic sheet, as in my opinion, the capped pieces stand a little too tall for my liking. I also made a massive schoolboy error; I removed the springs and ball bearings from the corners so I could truncate, sand and spray paint the pieces, however I forgot the put them back in and glued the pieces down too well, so as a result the puzzles turning is hindered slightly.
