Beautiful version!!
I'd definitely like to see the Compy/Dino Cube get mass produced ...

grigr wrote: grigorusha Blower Cube this is Compy/Dino Cube variation with wavy cuts. This is from family of my puzzles Fluffy/Venus Cube. Nice... I like this but you could have done something I would have liked even more. There are 8 cuts on this Compy/Dino Cube. The surfaces that meet up to four of those cuts never touch the surfaces that meet up to the other four cuts. As such you didn't need to make all 8 cuts the same shape. Keep the cuts as they are for 4 corners (one of the possible tetrahedrons you could impose inside this cube). And for the other 4 corners I would have used the inverse cut. See my very very poor drawing. Attachment:

This would give you two types of corners and highlight some of the interesting properties of the Dino Cube. For example it would make it very easy to see why you couldn't flip an edge piece. And the additional variation I think would also add to the appeal gained by making the cuts wavy in the first place. Carl

grigr wrote: wwwmwww I understand your idea! That's it!!! Thanks. Sorry about the slow reply. I saw this the day you posted and made a note to reply later and then it slipped my mind. Its interesting that this was posted the day before Timur's F-Skewb (version 2) as it wasn't till the first version of that puzzle came out that I understood the cuts for the corners related to one inscribed tetrahedron were independant of the other. This puzzle shows that very nicely while allowing the same depth cuts on all corners. At first glance one tends to think the puzzle may be bandaged as its obvious the edges can't be flipped, but its not and this design forces one to think about why its not. I like puzzles that make you think before you even try to solve them. Carl
