grigorusha Fluffy Cube and Wavy Cube (aka Venus Cube)

grigorusha Fluffy Cube - The world first in Wavy-style Rubik's Cube 3x3x3
This one is rather rare Rubik’s cube 3*3*3. Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase this unique puzzle.

about "Venus Cube" name. uwe told me:
Uwe Meffert wrote:
After discussions with our customers at the Japan Toyfair, we like to rename the fluffy cube the "Venus cube" as it has very shapely feminine curves, so using the Goddess of love's name.
Usually our customers choose the name they think suits their culture, a fluffy cube makes one think of a fluffy dog or cat, wave/wavy Tsunami not good at present for Asia. The 3x3x3 Crazy Venus cube is finished sold out and will not be brought back as it was a limited collector’s edition and is not known to the average person. As the puzzle has very shapely feminine curves, so using the Goddess of love's name our Japanese customer thinks is appropriate for the Asian Market.

Is the unpillowed version being factory produced? I was uncertain from your post.

nooo. this is 3d-printed puzzle.
I doubt that Calvin or Meffert will produce a cubic version of the puzzle.
but anyone can buy it from me;)

Do you know why they pillowed it instead of leaving it cubic?

Because it's much more baby-safe?
Because it's trendy?
Pick your choice.

To me, the cubic version of this puzzle is much more appealing.

Personally I think I agree... but not because its cubic. The sticker shapes are so different between the two. I just like the shape of the corner and edge stickers more on the cubic version. That's just me... I can't say there is anything "wrong" with the pillowed version.
