I realize I never really made a thread to announce this Elemental.
Argon is the 18 piece extension of
Beryllium-10 much like
Sulfur is an extension of
Neon, so there are fewer blocked moves.
I have to say, Argon is probably about as large as I can go with piece counts on the Elementals. It is really hard to tune it to avoid lock ups on the horizontal plungers, there are just too many places for slop to creep in and lead to lock ups. It is playable, but has to be jiggled a bit on those moves.
Here was my prototype (rebuilt as #02):

#01 was very custom and went to Klara as she posted about
here, but here are my pictures:

I have been ordering custom acrylic from
http://www.galaxyplastic.com for some of my latest Elementals and decided to build a few just to see what they would look like. Here are a few different models with some flashy looks:

In detail:
I really liked the grey granite I used for my last
Heart of Stone and decided to order some granite in sand and beige. I swapped pieces to set the body a bit apart from them.
Elemental:Argon #03 and #04

Not Argon, but since I am posting about new materials here we go: I had to try their glitter material and figured gold would be a good start.
Elemental:Fluorine #10:

I have used colored mirror before but never a full red mirror puzzle so here we have
Elemental:Aluminum Heart #05. Double etched so the light shows through where it is inked in gold:

These last four are for sale if anyone has interest, just send me a PM.
Enjoy,
Dave
