Hi everyone,
So, most of you probably know by now that I try my best to build my puzzles with the highest quality possible and that I take pride in trying to make the puzzle look as symmetrical as possible (ie, tetrahedrons, dodecahedrons, and cubes with faces of the same measurements). When I decided to build this puzzle I thought I would try something a little different so that I could maintain a high quality puzzle but have it look distorted. So, I decided to build a Distorted Dodecahedron.
The measurements were made like a regular dodecahedron but I took each side and adjusted the angle slightly so that each face would be slightly different before cutting
The puzzle was made using a Axis Cube. All of the pieces were capped with ABS plastic sheet and the pieces were filled using black apoxie sculpt. All of the gold stickers were machine cut using the vinyl that was purchased from Cubesmith.
I hope to have video up soon. Hope you enjoy.
