At 9mm I believe Jason's (io) remake of his Picocube earlier this year is the world's smallest functioning Rubik's Cube. A little later Evgeniy (grigr) made fully working 3d printed 12mm Rubik's Cubes- Microbic and Dice Cube. Both are available at his Shapeway's shop. As a fan of both big and small puzzles I asked Evgeniy to create the files for a 10mm Rubik's Cube (there is some debate as to whether a smaller one would work through Shapeways printing). All I did was assemble it and cut my own stickers. I take no credit whatsoever for this puzzle. Below you can see pictures of the puzzle and the world's smallest Rubik's Cube solve video. VIDEO

What're you doing with a dime Tony? That cube is tiny, it must be really easy to lose. Alex

Wow. That is tiny. That must have been really cheap! It's weird that due to how small the puzzle is, you can see the sandy like material that Shapeways prints in.

Okay, quick question: why is this puzzle so expensive? At $1.50 per cm^3, and a $1.50 startup cost, the total should be no more than $3.00, and that's assuming it's built completely solid. Pricing it at $14.99 equates to at least a 400% markup Of course the creator has to get his/her cut [Edited for clarity]

I personally believe they should cost a lot more when you think about what they actually are.

I didn't realise this was being picked up. It's probably because I originally said it was the smallest in the world until I remembered that Jason Smith had remade his 9mm Pico Cube. (What ever happened to that video Jason?) I just hope they all understand that it is Evgeniy's creation and not mine.

I must admit, that is pretty cool! I wanted to buy the worlds smallest 2x2 off of shapeways for 16 dollars. But then i decided not to, because I truly have no use for it haha.
