Hi everyone. I have been wanting to make this puzzle for a long time and after getting some experience making my own plastic tubing, I thought it was time to make this puzzle. I have only seen a few Megamorphix (besides traiphum's beautiful pillowed megamorphix) of this kind but I have only found two actually finished and stickered by Adam Zamora and I believe traiphum (please correct me if I am wrong). So here is my version.

The puzzle was made from a Rubik's 4x4. All the pieces were capped with ABS plastic and the extensions were hand made with ABS. All of the stickers were machine cut using Oracal and Arlon Vinyl.

The last picture is taken with a Rubik's 4x4 for size comparison. I should have time to upload the video soon. Hope you enjoy.

Absolutely beautiful. Could you explain what you mean when you say that you made your own ABS tubing?

I love it! very slick and beutiful build!

So would it be an easy process to go from the 4x4x4 octahedron? It looks like it...

Thank-you for the kind words everyone.

After using countless cubies for extensions I decided to make my own extensions with 4 strips of measured out ABS Plastic Sheet and make them into square or rectangular tubing. This also allows to extend out on puzzles that are not perfectly square. Here is a few picture of the tubing I made when building the MM-335.

You could build up from a 4x4 octahedron but I think it would be harder then building up from a half truncated 4x4. That is just my opinion though.
