I'd imagine this is around $25 dollars to print?

As brought up in the (awesome) irc, this has a 20 mm edge length.

nice build. my fingers aren't too big, but for a suggestion, what I do when i make stickers for my own puzzles is i cut out a piece of vinyl about the size of the face. so if i were doing a replacement for a megaminx, I would cut out a pentagon and put it on the face. then go into the fine tuning. I think when i complete my next puzzle mod (i really am not motivated! i have 3 mods on standby for completion!) im going to make a tutorial for my stickering method (most of my mods have really small stickers that need to be applied!

I would love to buy one of those if they are not too expensive (my version of expensive is $50+ USD) I have an idea for stickering. first you cover the part of the edges of the gigaminx with tape ( don't cover the whole edge) and then paint the side, that way, you will be able to color the side but still be able to see if the gigaminx is white or black. This link contains a picture that kind of explains what I mean however it is with a teraminx, not a gigaminx http://www.11gem.net/servlet/the-7239/W ... red/Detail

Very neat puzzle! I love seeing all these nano-puzzles that are being designed.
As for stickering, perhaps have someone custom cut the stickers and then use application tape to apply them?

Thank you very much to all. Eitan: The corner stems are not very thin. I do nothing to strengh them. ulmboy 556: In FDM it cost nearly 45 USD. It is full print. theVDude: the edge lenght is 20.7 mm I will try the method of RedRoost80 for the stickering. Thanks to all for the different proposals. stradust4ever: I need M1.6 screws. M3 are to much to big. cubeguy314: $50 is enough, but I need 8 hours for assembling. If I want to sell it or upload it to shapeways or build it with FDM I will work out in the next weeks. This was a very important test for me to build the Petaminx with nearly the same size of pieces. The turning quality is better than the c4u Tera. It is something between c4u and the v6 cube. It is good enough to start the Petaminx project. Here some picture. The edge lenght will be 36mm. Attachment:

Just how in the heck did you get a Petaminx that small? How will you sticker the faces? Aren't you worries about parts snapping?

Incredibly great job. What do you think - how long will it take until it will really be ready for sale/shapeways print?

You could sticker them buy laying one large sticker on the face, then cutting away at the planes. Eastsheen Gigaminx stickering?
