This is one of the first puzzles I ever designed, finally I have it in physical form. I am in love :) <3

tips may be turned in 90 degree increments

Color for the base is golden yellow.
The tips are Navy Blue, Dark Green (it looks more green in person but it is very dark), Scarlett Red, Orange, and Purple.

I hope you all enjoy. I hope to upload a video tomorrow.

Sorry for the haze in the last picture

VIDEO UP

Beautiful Muffet. As a childhood Pokemon fan, this is pretty darned cool to see. Would you consider adding a gemstone?

Wow, it evolves. In the first picture, it's a Staryu, but when turned it becomes a Starmie! :D

Pretty cool puzzle (not because of pokémon)
By the texture I am guessing shapeways, and by the coloring I'm guessing dyed. But now all same-colored pieces can be swapped. So for the sake of making a more difficult puzzle, you could perhaps sticker it ( a non-dyed one) like a rainbow puck, with 10 colors on each pentagon (that would indeed be a lot of colors, maybe, the same colors on both sides?) and the points that need to match those.
But 20, or even 10, colors may be a bit too much..
I really like the fact that the arms can turn by 90 degrees eventhough it's a pentagon, which seems a bit Oskar-like :)

I tend to do [url=URL]Text here[/url] because it's more friendly and works well.

I love this one and would love one myself. I agree with the gemstone idea and, as a hard-core Pokemon competitive player, I'd love to see iterations of more Pokemon such as Porygon, Pupitar, Forretress, Caterpie, Polywhirl, and Voltorb. Using Kastellorizo's JuPuMa (July Puzzle Madess) style of puzzles we can have a Ditto!

Of course your puzzle is a pretty awesome one. At a first glance it looks like a pentagonal Quartet but looking closer you can see some differences.

Pikachu has been done already as a 2x2x2 head. It's really lame- no one likes Pikachu who actually has a respect for Pokemon.

Pikachu is a decent pokemon that you can get early in red/blue.

First off I am glad someone likes it besides the fact that it looks like a pokemon :P There are many ways to make this puzzle much more difficult, as it is quite trivial. I simply wanted one that was colored like this one, I thought it would be pretty. :D

My other star puzzle has an almost gem like center, if anyone is interested in funding the project I would make a true Stamie looking puzzle. Also thank you for the URL help. I am not a computer whiz when it comes to alot of things so I didn't know how to do this, which brings me to my next point.

RubixFreakGreg, and cubecraze this was simply rude and in no way constructive. I have noticed that there are a very wide range of people that browse this forum from all different backgrounds and ages. Perhaps it would be more appropriate if some of the members acted in a way that is more mature.

Thank you as well Rentlix, I am quite surprised that people cant highlight and paste, or be helpful in fixing my mistake.

I also am happy that this puzzle has caught interest because coincidently it is similar to a pokemon. I would appreciate that this thread stay with my puzzle rather than all the pokemon we can make into puzzles.

Otherwise thanks everyone for the comments.

When you have a [url] tag, you can't put more tags inside. The reason your original link didn't work was that the size tags were inside the URL tags.

I think it's pretty awesome that it is similar to a Pokemon, as I've said before, but I also understand if it wasn't deliberate. With the current color scheme orientation doesn't matter, and permutation doesn't completely influence it. Therefore, it wouldn't be too hard of a solve. I don't think the difficulty of solve makes much of a difference.

If the verteces met at 30 and 60 degrees like a Square One rather than 90 degrees as it is now, it'd be a tough one.

Neat idea.
With it's size, colours, and shape, it look's like a kid's toy!
Just way harder to solve

If you put it up on shapeways in pieces, maybe you can get them to dye it with all their colours available right now! :)

This puzzle came out just in time for the Perseid meteor shower! I was just out watching for some when I was getting bit too much by bugs (icky mosquitoes I'm itchy now >:( ) but saw quite a few. Will be insane around 3am, but unfortunately I have to wake up EARLY tomorrow. :(

However, Starmie can be taught several Electric-type moves. So ha.
