Hi Twisty Puzzles fans, DinoBram is yet another puzzle that jumbles. Its concept was proposed by Bram Cohen. This puzzle has 24 turning-axes. It can be considered a " corner-turning rhombicuboctahedron". When turning, it changes shape and sometimes rotations are blocked. The puzzle also has overhang bandaging, that is, some moves are blocked by overhanging pieces in cases that its Jaap's Sphere would allow the move. The name of this puzzle refers to the Dino Cube, which has a very similar mechanism. Watch the YouTube video. Buy the puzzle from my Shapeways Shop. Read more at the Shapeways Forum. Check out the photos below. Enjoy! Oskar Attachment:

Very attractive, very symmetrical. Does the Helicopter Cube have overlap bandaging?

The mass produced helicopter cube does have overlap bandaging. It's kind of annoying because it keeps me from doing a move I really want to do.

Oskar, I'm a bit upset with you. The first couple of twistypuzzles you posted here were amazing, and I had never seen anything like them. But it's getting a bit old. It doesn't matter what your next puzzle will be, the element of surprise is gone. Everybody already knows what it's going to be: surpassing all amazingness we have seen before, making it one of the most incredible new puzzles to date! But luckily, I have thought up a brilliant solution to this problem, a puzzle that will in fact surprise the people here: create a puzzle that is not amazing. Now THAT would be surprising!

Oskar, you give me an excess of credit. I simply picked this one out as the most distinctive of the jumbling archimedean solids.
You should probably link to a configured version of Jaap's applet. After you get Jaaps applet into the configuration you want, you can click on the black section at the bottom to get a url you can cut and paste which goes to that exact configuration.

Neato. So I guess it's possible to convert nearly all the Archimedian/Catalan symmetry groups into twistypuzzles. You are well on your way to achieving this milestone Nothing tops Big Boulder, though
