Black Lolo's Octahedron

Here is the first Black Lolo's Octahedron and tiled with Cubesmith smooth tiles. Cast with Black Alumilite resin. Uses Garrett Ongs Mini Rhombiminx Design and is Pillowed to avoid cutting into the Mechanism. enjoy!

Yay! I love this puzzles. Is this an Octahedron of the 2x2x2 Cross Cube?

You can make it flat, not pillowed. No problem with the mechanism.

Oh well it was better for me to be safe. When I first made the masters for it because I was just starting out building with very little money. Also it gives a little character and difference from your awesome build so they are unique. Very nice job on yours by the way and as well as namegoeswhere!
