As much as I love this puzzle, woud you mind resizing the pictures to a more appropriate size? I really like combinations of different puzzles, as shown with the Super-X, combining the Dino Cube with 2³. Q

Because of the pillowed shape you can use the Eastsheen 2x2. The curved cuts are byproducts of the pillowing and using straight cuts. In order to make a proportional puzzle of the same size, without pillowing or curved cuts, it would be quite a bit larger, so you have to resort to using a custom 3x3 core.

Making progress on the regular helicopter cube + 2x2x2 with the little amount of time I've had to work on it.
I'm sure I'll be changing quite a bit after I finish up the first design of it, though.
