This is the mole cube. It was my first modification.

To build I extended a normal 3x3x3 with clay and painted the colors.

I love it! I wish to see more [i]other objects[i] like this. maybe warhammer models with the 3x3x3 cuts.. ?

It used to have googly eyes. Also the turning once it's aligned is amazing! The extra weight from the clay pulls the pieces apart.

It looks like ice cream.

To be brutally honest, I can't say the craftsmanship is very good. On the other hand, it's a novel idea and clay is pretty hard to work with. Good job, overall.

Nice puzzle, it is VERY unique.

Does the clay stick to the plastic by itself or did you glue it?
If it stays by itself, how well does it stay?

I used a hot glue gun to glue the pieces back on after they all fell off when I picked it up. To make it I just made the shape around the cube and used a knife to cut it into pieces. At school my science teacher was showing it to all of her classes and the yellow center fell off so now it's held on from a glue stick.

BTW a hot glue gun works alot better then glue sticks.
