This is a puzzle I designed and sold to Clause. He printed in what looks like FDM. In an email he told me it was perfect. So from my understanding the design was well done. This was my second prototyped design. Thanks to Clause for the pictures. Not yet fully stickered. Sorry

Nice! I'm going to order my own version of this later this week. My design uses olzing rather than pillowing, since I think it's easier to do it that way.

I though this was just another rendering when I saw the thread but this is amazing.
P.S.Whats the difference between olzing and pillowing?

What we see on the pictures are the unmodified pieces (no preperation, no sandings) when they came out the 3dprinter (Karl-Heinz).
I put them together to test the movements. I was excited. It turns nearly perfect. And it is unbelievable: It is a SHAPESHIFTER (third picture).
The stickering is only for testing the sizes.
It is in white, because Incredible can't print in black.
The next steps will be to sanding the skin and complete the stickers.
Thank you very much to C&E!!!!!!!

Pillowing is making the surface of the puzzle "rounded" for aesthetic purposes, or for making room for the mechanism (such as on a v-cube 7). Olzing is using irregular, curved cuts to make room for the mechanism (such as here: http://www.twistypuzzles.com/forum/view ... 15&t=13800).

Nice! The curved surfaces seem to make it quite a compact puzzle--it ends up being rather huge with the flat ones!
