Hi,

this is it. This is the last day (for an unknown time) where I present a new puzzle. And in this case I present two:
CornerlessRhombicDodecahedron3x3x3
and
CornerlessHexagonRhombicDodecahedron3x3x3

These two are made as parts of another series which was not revealed yet. One mod is missing (but underway) to complete this series.

Briliant idea.

The difference is only made by the 6 tips on the centers.

Has the missing one extensions on the edges?

The first one has already been made in ~1982 by Georges Helm
Quote:
Magic Snake Cube (c) Georges Helm

MAGIC SNAKE CUBE. All the edges of a black standard size cube are trimmed just as with the octagonal prism. Apart from this same as "Only Edges Cube". This cube looks like Rubik's snake in its ball-like form. (C) Georges HELM.

It might be little know but there was a commercially produced cornerless cube. I found one in Japan. Georges has a picture of my cube:

No. The series will have 18 modifications and their connection is rather abstract. I am almost sure nobody can guess it but maybe I am proved wrong.
And sorry Georges to reinvent your mod.
