It took me long sleepless nights to work this puzzle out.
I haven´t been member of this forum, when I first read about this beautiful puzzle.

I think I get infected by the idea of building one of these!!!

Long time I was not on a "puzzle road" but at the beginning of 2010 and the access to a 3d printer I could start again.

Find someone who will sell his files (bought by the.drizzle but too difficult to cast)
and start building.

There is a very good tutorial on how to build this cube but....



I had to change the advised printing direction for that parts. They could not resist the forces inside the cube.

So I started over again.

A lot of attempts later (screwed up screws, poping cores, too tight pieces, sanding, too loose pieces )

I was at point, I wanted to throw it all away.

I couldn´t make the (I thougt it was) last step and put the shelves together....

I found help - checking the forum - see: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=14128&start=0&hilit=rua+toru

Taylor had the same problem and changed the assembling - so did I.

And I could turn the cube:



I found it very simple and beautiful to look at but everytime I started turning it locked up and I had to disassemble it to find the blocker.

It look so nice:



But turning it forced a terrible headache - not going away until...

There is a status when everything looks right but inside it is NOT!!!!!

So I have to use the color caps to have a better orientation:

Wow. I love the 24 cube but I also kinda hate it because I can't figure it out on GB.

Sound like it was very painstaking to make. But that makes it all the more special to finally have it done! looks very nice. It was also nice to see it without the caps, so the sphere is visible.

Since I am no collector - sure......... someday

But I will not exchange for one or two floppy mods
