This my version of Aleh's 2x2x2 Circle Cube. His was based around an Eastsheen 4x4x4, mine is made with a 3D printed mechanism. Because of this, it is only a little bit larger than an Eastsheen 2x2x2. Rotation is nice and smooth though the circles have some "slack" to them occasionally causing lockups. But it isn't bad, I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out. The puzzle is very stable. You can watch a video.

I can't see the video. That link is directed to a song.
btw, are all the the inner circle locked with the other side? Like, is it true that the top inner pieces are locked to the bottom outer pieces and the bottom inner pieces are locked with the top out pieces? I understand that Aleh's version does not work in this way.

now thats humor! back on topic. I know it must have been asked and answerd before, but Would it be possible for all the faces to have locked circles on this puzzle?
