But seriously, but here are a couple of loooooooooong awaited pics, and a video of the puzzle in action.

It turns pretty well considering this was not polished in any way (hence the scraping noises in the video), and this was the very first puzzle I had printed in Shapeways WSF material (way back in 2009 when there were only a couple of printing options).

2x2x2 core with an 8 axis skewb built on top of that. Sort of like a shell built on top of a SuperX.

The cool part is that one of the corners extends all the way to the very core of the puzzle to keep both the Skewb and 2x2x2 aligned.

That's really interesting, as that was the mechanism I was originally gunning for on the SC Tetrahedron. What made me abandon that design was the fact that the rim triangles were only being held in on one side. My final version also has a corner that extends to the core.
