I just adore these type of mods, I can only just barely solve the Square-1, but it takes me a good few hours. This is just going too far

Keep up the amazing work however, I expect to see more brilliant pieces in the future

awesome puzzle!

I can barely solve the Square-1 as well. The parity case throws me off. If I get odd parity I am screwed

This is great. I didn't fully understand what was different until I saw the stickered image.

Yeah, I suck at parity too. if I get it I just scramble the puzzle again.

Very nice job! I haven't learned the Square-1 yet so this would be too challenging for me!

I wonder what a 4-layer version would be like.

beautiful as always. Now I get it. I had problems with the work in progress you showed me ages ago. I'm glad it is finally finished. Any chance that one will go to Macau with me?

It's been done as a type of sticker variation here but this is the first cubic version I've seen.

Building it into a cube shape looks very difficult and the end result looks excellent :)

Ahhh you've finally done it!
Great job as always, though I don't know if I deserve the name, since it's Thomas who has inspired me.

ps. I wonder how long it's been since my last post on TP

SmaZ... What a coincidence.

Exactly a year ago to the day (9th June 2008), I suggested this idea - having been inspired by Thomas' Crooked-1.

As I said
Quote:
That would be awesome.

And indeed it is. I'm glad someone has realised it. I had planned to make one, "Hectic Hexahedron (coming soon!)" was in my signature for some time but I never got round to it.

Good job!

This is a very nice technique, can it be applied to a square-1 hex dypyramid to make it more shape-shiftable? Also, do you plan on making more than one copy? Ifyou do, how much will it cost?

this shape is more difficult to solve ,
because the color is half and half.
it will sale after 4 months (hand made)
this cube use Cut & Paste to made it, not molding puzzle.
the price so expensive.
the price maybe USD100.00

thanks
