This puzzle is made by hand as all of my other custom puzzles. The idea comes from a 3x3x3 Axis cube, and it is modified from a rubik's revenge. I know this idea have been existed for some time, but I wonder whether this work has been done by anyone else. : )

Here is the http://player.youku.com/player.php/sid/23794959/v.swf. I know you guys are used to watch videos on youtube, but youtube have been blocked in my region for some time and I can not access it. This is a Chinese video site and it is almost as good as youtube. : )

I believe this is the first one that has been finished. I've been working on mine on and off for a while. I have one more side to build up. Maybe I'll post pics once I'm over the disappointment. :(

Wow, excellent work. I as well will have to get over the disappointment as mine is almost ready for plastic sheet. He who hesitates is lost. But beautiful work like this, everyone gains by the addition of this masterpiece. Well done Jesse.

Very awesome!

Kind of funny, Josh B and I were talking about this very puzzle and he actually mocked it up in solid works. Very cool to see it done by hand, and so excellently done as well.

It looks beautiful!

Perhaps you could make a record of the scrambling moves so you can return it to it's original state easily?

I agree with Sjoerd - at least a checkerboard pattern please :)

You can't do a pure checkerboard pattern on a 4x4 - but maybe if he recorded a scramble, he could play the video backwards to help him unscramble it.

I was thinking about this, and couldn't believe no one had done it yet.

I can see its not scrambled yet, and I can't blame you for it :P

Fantastic mod!
