I got another Elemental Neon from Dave.
He designed my Bump Cube into his Elemental Neon's inner pieces.

And reverse side is same design, with his autograph.

But I can't open the beautiful puzzle. X-)

Wow! That is a nice looking puzzle! I guess there's really no limit as to what can be put on the Neon. I may have to send Dave a PM :D

I should share a few out-of-the-packaging photos I took before I sent it. The lighting isn't great and I hadn't finished etching/inking the backplate, but you get a sense. This Neon is built with pearl, gold and silver mirror.
For this, along with the one I built for SuperMan (here), I use a new technique to ink two colors next to each other. To keep one color from bleeding into the next, I etch them at different height levels, inking the lower first, then the higher.
For Hidetoshi's it is a bit hard to tell from the pictures, but it is pearl acrylic on the back, then black and silver ink for the image. On the front it is mirror acrylic with black lines, so the image looks just like the real thing.

Here it is scrambled:

This should be Hidetoshi's hand, not mine! Let's all convince him to open it!

For anyone wondering, this is a long (18 month?) overdue half of a trade for a very nice puzzle Hidetoshi made for me well before there was a production version:

It was going to be a Chromium:

but, well, that just isn't working.

What a beautiful puzzle. The marble pattern on the back looks perfect with the silver bump cube and glass. Man, if I have $100 to burn someday I'd definitely get one of these.

I'm a noob to the puzzle world. What's an elemental neon? It seems to be a put-together puzzle.

As I've already advised you (here) please use the search function first. There are many threads on this puzzle.
