I should share a few out-of-the-packaging photos I took before I sent it. The lighting isn't great and I hadn't finished etching/inking the backplate, but you get a sense. This Neon is built with pearl, gold and silver mirror.
For this, along with the one I built for SuperMan (here
), I use a new technique to ink two colors next to each other. To keep one color from bleeding into the next, I etch them at different height levels, inking the lower first, then the higher.
For Hidetoshi's it is a bit hard to tell from the pictures, but it is pearl acrylic on the back, then black and silver ink for the image. On the front it is mirror acrylic with black lines, so the image looks just like the real thing.
