Very simple funny mod :)
The idea came of a youtube video. A guy truncated a megaminx. Then PotatoSpades22095 said: glue 2 together.
Thanks for the idea :P
Video might come tomorow.
Edit: make up a nice name :D

Oh now that is cool!

I had a similar idea a while back, but never got the funds for a second megaminx

Bravo, truly amazing, and yet so simple :P

Is it fully functional (As fully functional as a siamese mod can be) :?:

Depending on the number of tiles glued together, I had named those as Megatwinx, Megatrinx and Megapentix.

The 2006 thread is here:

No, I just glued them.

wel I got a layer of each puzzle, so no tiles were glued:P but for pieces there are 10 pieces per puzzle connected so in total of 20 pieces are glued.

Well this depends on how you want to glue them (obviously there are many ways!).

Mathematically speaking (and not depending on how they are glued), There can be two types of Megatwinx
(connecting corners or edges), two types of Megatrinx (connecting the edges in parallel way or in vertical way),
while the Megapentix has only one type which is equivalent to what you did.

Of course, mine was just a suggestion, while you actually made it.

:)

then it will be a Megapentix :D

Wow, very neat! In real life, it looks a lot better than it had in my mind.
Maybe something for Uwe to think about producing?

;)
