I didn't want to clutter the other topic, so I thought I would start another about my second attempt at the hexagonal prism. This puzzle turns much better than the other and is overall a more sturdy puzzle. I stickered it with lighter colors, and I like the look of it. Expect it in the marketplace soon.

Wow, excellent job with this puzzle. Probably way out of my price range but maybe someday i'll get one. If you see enough interest you should list this on Bedard Puzzles.

Wow. That puzzle looks really cool.
Did you change the name to hexagonal prism #2 because I called mine hex prism 1? I only call it that because that's what Adam calls it in his STL catalog. There's actually a hex prism 2 in there too. When I make that one, I'll have to call it hex prism 3. :)

I think he named it that because it's his second Hexagonal Prism.

Exactly. The thing is, I had earlier named it the V2 hex prism because it works so much better but seeing as the mechanism is the technically the same as the original I decided against it. I just called it #2 to show that it's not the one from the earlier topic.

It still does a little bit. I'm not sure why it does this, but it's still pops less the the first one. I think I know why too. I'll PM you with my proposition.

Great news everyone! I fixed the popping/snagging problem that has plagued this puzzle. It now works amazingly better! Anyway, here's the video of the final puzzle.

Nice work Superman, such an awesome puzzle. I always wanted a pentagonal one but this really did step it up a notch.

I purchased the .stl files a while back from Scott and got the printed by Dynamo Design. Here's the original thread from the offer.
