Something Adam posted a few months ago in the builders forum- the twist cubie. Very cool looking and very impossible to sticker! I cast the left one in gold using alumilite gold dust. I'm thinking of maybe throwing one of these in with any puzzles I sell. I have a mold, and have been filling it up every time I have some extra alumilte, so I have a bunch of these laying around now (the white ones). Whatever. Anyway, I've been wanting one of these, so now I have 20.

You know what needs to be done now? THIS!!!

That would be a crazy puzzle to say the least!

I thought about doing that one first, but then I realized that other than shape, it is exactly the same as a regular Rubik's Cube (when the layers are aligned). I chose the aligned version because it added center orientation for the middle layer, and eliminated edge orientation for the middle layer. I always like to add something different in my mods, but the alternate twist cube is still a very interesting idea, and only two additional parts...

The twist cubie was just a silly idea of mine, I enjoy seeing one built.
