It looks like a nice puzzle. It is simple (in theory) to make. As would be a 2x3x4.
I'm not sure about this but i think that the puzzle could be solved no diffrent from the dommino becuse only 180 degrees turns are alowed on the two short axies.

Is this really easy? How would you do it?

It is indeed easy in theory, i'm not sure wheather or not that has any effect on in reality because all of my projects seem to break down, and each one in a diffrent way.
As for fow i would make a 2x3x4, i would start with a 2x2x3 and then modify it in a way similar to Wayne's 2x2x4. That is i would cut a circle out of oposeing 2x3 sides and carve out a track for the extension peices to move in. The outer pieces would slide around this and move with this pieces they were directly attached to.
If that didn't make sense take a look at Wayne's and Ton's 2x2x4 plans and finished products, you should be able to make sense of it then.

i did some sketches it doesnt seem like it could work. but, i dont have a 2x2x3 at the time, and i dont really want to make one. I understand your idea, but i think it is physically impossbile using wayne's method of 2x2x4

What i have done seems to show the opposete of your work, but since neither of us has a 2x3x3 to test with we won't be able to find out soon.

I only make 2x2x3 for people who want to buy one, otherwise i dont waste my time making the carvings needed.
