I actually made this from a Tetraminx rather than a Pyraminx. I've never made anything this small before and made quite a few mistakes en route, which fortunately I resolved. The spring/bearing system which makes up the "click" mechanism had to go - no room. Somehow I managed to shoehorn in an extremely shortened spring and a washer into each main screw recess (which had to be drilled to make the room), so movement is surprisingly okay. I made an interesting discovery about the volume of the pieces: the 6 rhombic dodecahedron edges pack perfectly into the shape and volume of the Tetraminx edge. The 4 corner pieces of the rhombic dodecahedron pack perfectly into the same shape and volume as the Tetraminx corner piece. I've included a photo down the list to show this. Video Scrambled Comparison Packing Noah, if you're reading this, Admiral Ackbar was sighted during construction...

Really cool! It would have been hard to guess what this was made from if you hadn't mentioned it in the title.

That's so tiny... ...but so perfect! I love it! I'd go completely nuts if I tried to build something that small!
