There is an update on Ayi's Toy about the 4x4x3 and Kite Cube. We may be getting the 4x4x3 soon :)

Yeah, been around for a few days now, The kite cube has already been removed from the announced but not released thread I believe, after I asked him what was happening on his kite cube video a while ago, he replied saying the mold had failed, and announced it here.

Are the cubies on this the same size as Ayi's other cuboids (standard 4x4x4 size) or are they larger (3x3x3 size)?

Edit: Ayi updated his post on facebook stating that the cubies are larger, they are 18mm.

I already have the 4x4x5 and the 5x5x4. These cubes afford different solving strategies. Does the 4x4x3 add any new challenges? I still hope for some higher order cuboids getting mass produced :-)

I expect it to solve the same as the 4x4x5, just with fewer layers. It's not going to add any new challenges to that puzzle I don't think.
