I can't think of much to say about this, I think the pictures speak for themselves!
I am very impressed with Shapeways' dyed & polished materials, this turned very well immediately after assembly, and the material feels very smooth. Shapeways even included some of the polishing bits as a bonus :wink:

Andreas: I'll submit edited pictures to the museum in a couple of weeks, don't worry about doing them yourself.

That's a fun idea! And I really like the look. Nice puzzle.

How did you order the colored polished? I haven't seen it as an option on my models.

The colors (except for black) are polished by default. Shapeways no longer offers unpolished colors.

One (not me!) should compile the different methods to determine the solved position of a 3x3x3 or any other twisty puzzle.
This would be another entry.
