Hey guys,
I found this puzzle and thought I'd share it with everyone. It is similar to Eitan's 3 x 3 twisted 180 deg, but since the 2 x 2 twisted 180 deg is nowhere to be seen , I consider it an original . The other shapes as well.
The one assembled of 8 differently colored pieces is quite cool IMHO, and I think that if ever mass produced, it would give quite a headache to ordinary mortals.

Those are great ideas, although there have been a few puzzles of this design suggested in the past.

The first I believe to be from Adam Cowan (PuzzleMaster42) here in 2008.

Eitan (pirsquared) hand built a similar model and a Fisherized version here a year later.

Adam's design was hand cast by David Calzone here a month after that.

These are pretty interesting cubes, because the twist is so shallow, 45 degrees rather than 90 degrees.

I made a 2x2x2 version with a 90 degree twist, like the original.
Unfortunately, the twist is too extreme to make the stickers work very well. They might work with effort, but they are REALLY hard to apply, and I couldn't even get the shape right. I considered designing tiles, or working on the stickers more... but it's too much work for such a simple puzzle.
