An orginal Dogic for under $90. Wow was this a steal given the Mefferts that went for way more not so long ago (the original is superior in movement and colors). A Rotascope (image unknown) here for only $108 and a rotascope with a green body (I've never seen that before) here fro $138. A Cohan Circle for $252. A Skewb Octahedron by made by Gerd Braun and Jean-Claude Constantin for only $108! Those are some very nice puzzles (all by the same seller) for pretty good prices. I should have bid higher, but I didn't seriously think I was going to get any. Dave

Jason, congratulations! Such nice puzzles and so many of them! I've never seen a Rota puzzle in a nice container. Mine is in a card box. Do you know if the puzzles sold by planet90_0 are in boxes/container? There is nothing on that in the descriptions.

The Rota, Figurenmatch and Rotos were all from another seller, though. The Trick-Haus was also from the same seller as the Figurenmatch. Good to know that you got the Naef 2x2x2. I wanted to have it also, this is why: My Naef puzzles come in their original Naef boxes, here the gold-white one http://www.helm.lu/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=618But I regularly saw pictures of this puzzle with asterisks printed on them (first I saw this in Vadim's collection) Now I guessed that these were markings to show that they were 'custom' Rota puzzles, i.e. sold under license. If you receive your puzzle, I would appreciate receiving a scan of the accompanying insert.

4x4 Hexagonal Dipyramid for 475 USD! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0389005419That bidder 4***7 always trys to pay obscene amounts of money for various puzzles. Just about a month ago he bought a Skewb Ultimate for $199. Maybe a week or two ago, a pillow cube for $156 and a keychain wonderful puzzler barrel for $56. Any auction he gets his hands on always jumps up to crazy prices nobody in their right mind would pay. If I ever auction something, I hope he bids .

That sounds like a lot for a hexagonal dipyramid!
The bidding war between the two bidders took this up from $125.50 to $475.00 and it looks like the current high bidder was ready to go up to $510-$520. I guess that's maybe why people snipe auctions?
It seems like the things we like to collect bring really strong prices!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... SA:US:1123I feel like I did fairly well with this lot of 12 puzzles. An OrbIt, Missing Link, Impossiball, Wisdom Ball, Whip-It, and a couple of other puzzles- none of which I have previously owned (excluding the basic cube and the revolution). Think I'm hooked on eBay browsing now though... looks like I need to get a job

Has anyone else besides me considered this could be the case? I'm not being accussatory (if that's a word) or anything, it just seems highly possible for something like this to happen....which I believe is part of the reason that people snipe auctions, as someone else said here earlier....

These were sold in USA before ITC decided on another packaging (see below) for the States. Seeing how good it looks, it's a bargain. http://www.helm.lu/gallery2/main.php?g2 ... alNumber=4hmm. ok, thanks for the info. i always thought the Arxon versions are more expensive than the Ideal. Maybe because i also have an Ideal (Made in Hungary, not Hong Kong) and got it for around 35$ (see images below). so is this one more valuable than the arxon? My impression is also that i see ITC quite often in the ebay listings.

I am the seller, and I take your comment very personal. I know 4***7 personally, she is from australia and I have sold more that 12 puzzle to her. Therefore she bids on a lot of puzzles, from a lot of different sellers. The winnig bidder also bought me several puzzles, and I also know him personally. I try to be as honest as I can with all buyers, if they fight for an item, I have no control, I had posted 3 pictures and a video. They both knew perfectly what they were bidding on. I was the first surprised of the price of the auction, should I not accept this money? Hell no, Its my gain, I earned it fairly. Do not pretend such things, This is just not right... And to my point, you are accusatory,( as you said) I sold puzzle for ridiculous low price in the past, that is just the game in auction. If there is only one serious bidder, auction will be low as second bidders bid, even if the first was 100$ higher. But if more than one bidder are interrested, it can be very interesting... I am not a crook

I'm very sorry. I honestly did not mean to accuse anyone of "cheating" or anything of that sort. I was a bit suspicious is all. Please do not take my post as anything related to an accusation of any sort. I completely understand that a bidding war between 2 or more ebay users can evolve during an auction, though the expectation of the outcome (the winning bid) was much lower in my opinion and therefore, I proceeded to question the legitamacy of the actual bidders.
This could also relate back to something that has been said before about the "value" or "worth" of a puzzle being as high as the amount one is willing to pay. That too, I completely understand.
Again, I apologize for offending anyone with my previous post.

They are tiny. They don't grow in water. It's a very easy puzzle as far as puzzles go. 14 beads for 14 spots with as near as I can tell, 3 double holes so some of the beads can get lost inside. They are hard to come by, I've now seen 2 on ebay in the past month though so maybe not so hard anymore. Mine was a $210 BIN. You got a great deal Danny.

Well, people get lucky. This time it was me I'm currently watching around 12 auctions since I went through the ≈2000 auctions in the rubiks section last night. Some I have no intention of bidding on and am simply watching so that I can post them here. But on a few of them, watch out Actually, I just looked through them and most are BIN (some of which also have best offer). There are only 3 that are actually auction and out of those, I'd only image you being interested in 1 or 2... But since these all end in a week or so, you'll have more competition after that I'm sure
