Why? I think the pair are originals and not knock-offs.

Community standards differ in different places and times. Given no uniform standard and our younger readers, we'll be a bit conservative on the matter and go for something that is more generally accepted as appropriate for our readership age range.

To this end, Konrad has donated some graphics editing time to supply a blouse so we might still enjoy the contribution without any concerns.

Lol yes, for research purposes :D and to know what the fuss is about for the people that saw it before it was fabulously edited.

Well, I did see it unedited, but I didn't save it. What a pity. Aw well, regardless, she has a nice pair......o-of rings! I-I-I meant to say rings! ..........

Jokes aside, I'm curious how rare that item actually is.

This makes me think of how unlikely it was to even TRY to get into the public, let alone obtain outside of its production area.

What info do we have on this item so far, or is it as unknown as the origins of the Unknown Variant? (I chose this because of the amount of info we have on it, not the puzzle itself)

I feel like this was a reletively good call for a few reasons. Although the age range on the forum is vast, at least we can keep it PG and still have an agreement on almost all ages, and I quite like that this is possible. I keep remembering this every time I attend a speedsolving competition, as a large margin of the individuals I meet are quite young (and solve fast already  ) so when an item containing that content is present I'm always intrigued by the reactions and maturity of the forum members (with humor included).

I do like the idea of censoring or toning down in this manner on a case by case basis, but would a small set of guidelines for content that is puzzle related be out of the question? I'm sure there doesn't need to be a written standard, as a general understanding is fine, but I'm sure this thread can serve as a reason to have a few guidelines.

I do find an exemption to the above statement, as the museum does contain info on items we've had, but if it's a museum, it should be acceptable for some content? I've been to art museums and I'm sure a lot of members have as well, so I see the forum as if it's a group of people at a puzzle-related museum, where we can view what items are on display and be mature as well.

I'm not sure if this is something the other members relate to, but I feel the forum is a large room for discussion with doors to a museum on each side of the room (and a few exits as we need to leave somehow  )

PS: I removed the original humor I had as re-reading it made little sense to myself  ; I have had a majority of the questions answered in my post in PMs, but decided to leave them in to hopefully further discussion.
