I just want to clarify that the Twisted Assembly puzzle is one that Claus made himself for his collection.

Haha, that explains it. I was sitting here thinking 'Woah, tony uses 3D printing for his mods now?'

I noticed that it was 3D printed as well, but I could not believe it! I thought that maybe all these years TF had been "cheating"

Here some more informations.

First, sorry Tony. It was not my intention to show it as your work. I used your name, because you are the inventor. But the title of the picture is "3-d.printed...". And everybody of this planet knows, that you make all your puzzles by hand. Sorry again.

This is a complete 3d-printed 3x3x3 with an outer shell in shape of a sphere. The 3x3 is bandaged like a 2x2x2. Diameter is 60mm, weights: 150 grams.

I found this shape in the math books as Drilled Truncated Dodecahedron. I printed the extensions for a normal skewb. The squares has the dimensions of a normal rubik cubies. I used the standard stickers (205 grams).

The next both picture I show you, because someone asked for it:

Thanks Claus though no need to apologise. I just wanted people to know the facts behind your version.
