Lately I've been looking at what puzzles are available on websites, and I'll research which puzzles appeal to me, from that I'll create a wanted list.
However what started out to be fun, has become a bit of an obsession and feels too much like hard work now, so I think I'm going to quit with this method, lol.
Any of you guys do the same? Or do you go about things differently?

I find there's either of 2 methods.. a wanted list or an empty bank account .

I do exactly the same thing - I'll create a list of puzzles that I want, and also how much I need to save up for them. It is most definitely an obsession :D

Well my wanted list just got shorter with the mf8 gigaminx and the Tomz 4x4x6 on the way, but the cheaper puzzles yes I have a wanted list, including stores where they are sold the cheapest.
And then it's a sport to get them for even less on Ebay *giggle*

It's the only way that I, as a relatively poor cuber, can still obtain some gems

I keep a spreadsheet of puzzles I want and their prices at different online shops. Really helps with planning my purchases carefully. The downside? It also tells me how much I've already spent on puzzles [= way too much!].

Yes I have a wish list, with stars : 1 star : I want the puzzle 2 stars : I really want the puzzle 3 stars : I really really want the puzzle 4 stars : I must have this puzzle With this system, I buy less, I only buy the 3 & 4 stars, the 1 & 2 stars I buy when they are cheap. Just bought a 4 star, the Blue Revomaze V1, now I have to stop buying for some weeks until my budget has recovered, and I guess I will need some time to solve the puzzle.

My wanted list is simple: I want the puzzles which I have not got But I do track all new mass produced puzzles and keep the list handy just in case ...

I don't have a real wanted list but there're puzzles I always want, store in my brain. Sometimes I forget them, sometimes I'll be re-activated by some bloggers' blog or when I saw some photos of those puzzle~ Usually for me, buying puzzles, especially expensive one, is an action without going through my mind
