Recently, new versions of the 2x2x2 Donald Duck and Mickey puzzles have appeared compared to the original Spanish made Volzaper versions.

Which years did the production (of both variants) started? Which company produces the new version?

Any piece of information would be welcome.

The old Mickey version can e.g. still be bought via Meffert. Both new types can be found at ebay searching for ‘Topocubo’.
I believe that these were introduced in 2012.
The old types were marketed under the name Crakit by the company Volzaper, located in Barcelona (Spain).
The real rare one of these puzzles is the Crakit Donald Duck.
