In the first picture to the left of the Wahn regarding the 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube in the plastic cylinder could you please tell me what country the cube was manufactured or assembled in. I've seen examples where the red side was next to the orange side in the boxed version but never in the plastic cylinder which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

Yes the cube interesting!
I just haven't seen this option before.

But it's not even an interesting layout colors of stickers, and so that the stickers do not round the corners and sharp-angled. These stickers were always the first cube, 1977 and 1978 some subsequent year from Politechnika.

The cube came from the United States, it does not have a logo on the label, and the box has a standard lettering similar boxes, 1980 Edition in English.

I can suggest that a portion of the old cubes was packed in new packaging of Ideal and was exported to America from Hungary in the first shipments, up to reputed cardboard boxes with transparent film. I do not exclude the possibility of spoofing and packing cubes. Golden Ribbon slightly lifted in place.

More seasoned collectors, hope will tell more about this version of the Rubik's cube.

This is most impressive.
Can you send me a single image of the back side of TRIO's packaging?
Can you send me a single image of the five flowers to show here?

I start to hate soviet puzzles because of the their many different variants ...
