This is called Morph. He was put out by McDonald's back when Treasure Island came out.

I might be wrong, but I don't think it was released in the US, but rather only in Europe and Asia. Your best and probably only bet is an auction. But be warned, they are expensive! The last one I saw went for over $50.

Hey vincent300985 (and others),

Be careful, there is another product that is kind of misleading and it is not the Morph 2x2x1 head. It is a soft plastic action figure that comes with a "puzzle accessory", (other action figures also come with other parts of the "puzzle"). The final "puzzle" might be B.E.N. the robot (or not, see edit below).

Skarabajo.

EDIT: Actually, I'm not sure anymore about the "puzzle accessories" becoming the robot. I saw other pictures and there is a possibility that all eight action figures had a "puzzle accessory" that would create something else... Maybe the "map ball"? In any case, this McDonald's happy meal collection does not include any twisty puzzles. Also, this McDonald's happy meal collection was distributed in Canada and in the US in 2002, the other McDonald's happy meal collection (the one with the Morph 2x2x1 head) was distributed in Europe/Asia in 2002-2003.

I won the auction and the paid is done. Now i watched the post of Skarabajo.....

I asked him to refund the money to me, I'm pretty sure that "puzzle" is not the Morph 2x2x1 head.

I payed 7$ total......

Anyone knows where to get it out of Ebay?

Your best bet is ebay UK. I very rarely see them though. Good Luck.

I know blizzardkb has one and he said he was going to stop to collecting for a while. I'd try to contact him.
